Overture Woman is part of Amouage’s narrative collection, designed to convey a sense of theatrical richness and intensity. The composition opens with bergamot and apple, layered with saffron and cinnamon to create a warm, spiced introduction. The heart develops into a dense resinous accord of benzoin, myrrh, and labdanum, adding depth and texture. In the base, patchouli, leather, and smoky notes bring structure and a darker tonal quality. The fragrance is complex and layered, reflecting the house’s signature approach to opulent oriental perfumery.
